2026 RAV4 Screen Protection: Film, Display Size and Sun Hoods
A screen protector and a display sun hood solve different problems. Film provides a replaceable surface layer; a hood creates an overhang that can shade the display. Start by identifying which display you want to cover, then compare the complete shape rather than choosing from the vehicle name alone.
Identify the driver display and center screen
The gauge cluster sits behind the steering wheel. The infotainment screen sits in the center of the dashboard. A 12.3-inch instrument-cluster accessory is not a cover for the center screen. Screen sizes are diagonal measurements, not the outside width of a protective hood. Toyota’s 2026 RAV4 information is a useful starting point, but inspect the actual equipment fitted to your vehicle.
Choose film by the illustrated coverage
Our 2026 RAV4 TPU screen and interior film offers styles A–E, matte or transparent finishes, and left- or right-hand-drive layouts. These options are not interchangeable bundles: each style image shows a different coverage pattern. Match every cutout to your dashboard and console before selecting a set. U.S. vehicles usually have the wheel on the left, but imports and regional versions should be checked individually.
Transparent film favors a clear appearance. A matte finish changes the surface appearance and may also change perceived image texture. Neither finish repairs an existing scratch or guarantees a reflection-free screen. This product is flexible TPU film rather than tempered glass.
When a gauge hood makes sense
The 12.3-inch instrument-cluster sun hood is intended for the matching 2026 RAV4 gauge housing. Dry-fit it from your normal seating position before attaching it. All warning lights, readouts and your forward view must remain clear. A hood cannot correct a display fault or substitute for adjusting screen brightness appropriately.
Installation checklist
- Compare the selected variant photo with your actual display and console.
- Check the steering position and screen outline, including rounded corners.
- Use a display-safe cleaning method; keep liquid away from seams and electronics.
- Align carefully and follow the supplied fitting instructions.
- Recheck visibility in daylight and darkness while parked.
If the layout differs from the listing photos, pause before opening adhesive backing. Email nick@qualityprintsusa.com with the model year and a photo of the installation area so we can help compare the shapes.
